Plastic random packing
The high-capacity Octopac creates exciting new possibilities in packed tower design. The unique drip points and gas turbulence create millions of small droplets, multiplying the surface area for gas flow. The Octopac provides efficient heat or mass transfer with low pressure drop.
The Octopac can be used at higher gas velocities up to 4 meter per second. Scrubbers and gas-cooling columns can be designed above conventional velocities without sacrificing efficiency. Due to its spaced bar-and-rod constructed design, fouling is minimized.
The Octopac extends production runs, decreases maintenance time and works cost reducing.
